Beautiful green moonstone pendant, also called garnierite from Madagascar.

Green moonstone is much rarer and lesser known than white moonstone. Originally from Madagascar, it has a beautiful, rather exceptional pastel anise green color with a slight white iridescence. Moonstone has always been considered a divine and sacred stone throughout its history, it was notably associated with Aphrodite, the goddess of love in Greek mythology. The moon has always aroused fascination and divination, which is why this stone was highly prized by our ancestors. Green moonstone can also be known as "Garnierite", it will be found mainly in Madagascar. Due to its high price and low availability, this stone is only very little used in the field of lithotherapy.

The natural green moonstone measures approximately 3.5 cm high cut in the shape of a drop and mounted on a silver plated bail.
